100% service-disabled veteran of the US Army, Dr. Darren Howard Powers is a certified and
award-winning quality, operations, and project management professional
possessing extensive hands-on lean manufacturing methodologies and leadership
experience in automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, defense, government,
consumer products, marine, and financial industries. He has been a quality
manager, regional quality director, quality director, plant manager, director
of operations, country manager, consultant, principal, and university adjunct
professor.

Dr. Powers provides training and
consulting to organizations on many quality and operations topics, including
APQP, core tools (FMEA, PPAP, PCP, PFD), MSA, SPC, Effective Problem Solving,
BIC Labeling and Error Proofing, Lean-Sigma workshops, and ISO 9001:2015, ISO
14001:2015, and ISO/TS 16949:2009/IATF 16949:2016 quality management systems
and auditing.

He also consults on
organizational development, hoshin kanri, brownfield/greenfield strategies,
OPEX strategies, supply chain management, new business development, as well as
other project based strategies such as new business plans, resource alignment,
and a variety of documentation and other strategic requirements.

Dr. Powers
holds a Doctorate
of Business Administration in Management, Masters in Business Operations,
Post-Masters in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Management and
Organizational Development.
He is also a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified
Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Six Sigma
Master Black Belt (CSSMBB), Certificate of Training for Business Analyst, and
Certificate of Training for Project Management Professional (PMP).
